As of the beginning of April, I am $91,648.83 in debt. Ouch - I know, right!
I have been listening to and reading Dave Ramsey, and I am ready to dig myself out of debt. Right now, I am struggling to get through Baby Step 1, which is $1,000 in a starter emergency fund. I have managed to set aside $74.34. Even this small amount of savings is good for me, though, considering I am currently bringing home only about $1,100 a month.
The good news is that I have interviewed for a new job which would increase my income considerably by the end of next month... if I get it. I will be hearing within the next two weeks. My fingers are crossed!
